Live with more balance and less stress
Available spots
Description
Class meets on two Thursdays, July 10 and July 17, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm Eastern. All students who complete this class are invited to join one free class a week: Sunday Inspired Living, with 3 morning options or Wednesday Connect to Calm at 8:15 pm Eastern. This classic Robert Peng Qigong practice is Kathy's #1 recommendation for embarking on a sustainable journey toward relaxation and social-emotional growth and healing. Do you find yourself doom-scrolling, often frustrated, or struggling to stay present? Are you overwhelmed, angry, or despondent, especially if you work in social justice? Are you feeling stuck? If you answered yes to any of these, then this is the class for you. The Four Golden Wheels Exercise is a gentle and powerful Qigong practice to become more grounded and resilient. You will learn the foundations of how Life Force energy (Qi) can be cultivated (Gong) in your three centers of awareness (thinking, feeling, and acting). And, you will learn two breath practices to support energy mangement. Through movement, breathing, and visualizations, you will learn the key skills necessary to deeply and sustainably relax. All of the practices support nervous system balancing, trauma-informed stress management, and vagal toning. Kathy Jankowski, your guide, is a certified breath coach, a trauma-informed Qigong trainer, and a certified Robert Peng Qigong trainer. Payment for the class is based on your ability to pay: $75, tight budget, or $125, ready to move for this 4-hour class. If for any reason you cannot affort the tight budget fee, send Kathy an eamil <connect@KathyJankowski.com>, and she will send you information on how you can take the class for what you are able to afford. Class size is limited so all of your questions can be answered! Qigong is the Art of energy cultivation. Our bodies have three important energy centers where bundles of nerves are concentrated: your belly, your heart, and your head. In Qigong, these centers are called dantians. Over the past 30 years, new research and applications in physiology, psychology, biology, neuroscience, and interpersonal neurobiology have confirmed that the health of these three centers and the vital energy that flows through them influence perception, mood, stress, emotions, thoughts, wellness, behaviors, and actions. Energy wants to move and circulate. Practicing Qigong is like doing calisthenics for your energy body, for revitalizing from head to toe!
