Holiday Schedule: We will meet on Dec. 3 and 9 and then break for 3 weeks. Classes resume on January 6. Get ready for the weekend! Live with more ease by establishing a consistent Qigong and breathwork practice. Tone your vagus nerve, balance your nervous system, and live with more vitality, wisdom, love, and harmony. Class is free for Kathy's students who have learned the Four Golden Wheels and Poolesville Seniors participants; $25 for the general public. The sign-up window for a class is 8 hours before its start time. Weekly practice is key to changing and thriving! Movement and breathwork practices mirror the cycles of each breath: activation, circulation, and rest. This is why combining Qigong and breathwork is a powerful, evidence-based, optimal approach to self-care and stress management. More importantly, regular practice rewires your nervous system at the cellular level and helps you sustain your choices to live a healthier, more vibrant, and joy-filled life. • Practice gentle, subtle, and effective skills to release tension and stress • Strengthen self-awareness and empathy, the #1 leadership skill • Improve relationships and become a better communicator • Increase creativity, focus, and wisdom and live with more ease • Break bad habits and heal trauma stored in the body Photo credit: Darren Chapman, poplar trees in Kelso, Scottish Borders. Keep in mind the other benefits of regular practice: • Optimal health and wellness • Attention training • Stronger relationships and bonding • Improved executive functioning • Increased energy and stamina • Restful sleep • Improved mood • Reduced inflammation and chronic pain • Improved flexibility, balance, and agility • Feeling centered and grounded
Please notify me if you need to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your session. Thanks!
