Four Golden Wheels Exercise
Energy Wants to Move!
Description
The Four Golden Wheels exercise is a classic Robert Peng Qigong practice and Kathy’s #1 recommendation for learning Qigong and building resilience. It is also especially useful for Enneagramers who want to connect more directly with essential states in the three centers. The fee is $300. You choose the class size and time slot from the calendar. Schedule a 2.5-hour solo session with Kathy or come with friends/colleagues as a group of up to four. One person registers, pays the fee, and adds the other attendees’ names to the Booking Form. Click “Book Now” to find a day/time that works for you. If cost is a barrier, email Kathy at connect@KathyJankowski.com. No groups are turned away. Consistent practice matters. Everyone who completes this class is invited to attend one free drop-in class each week, with seven options. If you are feeling overwhelmed, numb, easily frustrated or angry, bracing, anxious, reactive, sleep-deprived, or simply unable to recover from stress, this practice can help. In volatile times, learning to relax quickly and build energetic stamina is essential. Come learn gentle, nourishing, and fun practices that strengthen your capacity to slow down, quiet the mind, and rest. Four Golden Wheels is a subtle yet powerful grounding practice that brings the body into greater coherence. You will learn how Life Force energy (Qi) is cultivated (Gong) through the body’s three centers of awareness: thinking, feeling, and acting. Through movement, breathwork, and visualization, you will learn to regulate energy in real time, stop running yourself ragged, and recover more quickly from stress. The practices support vagal tone and draw on contemporary understandings of how chronic stress affects the nervous system—and how those patterns can be unwound. Kathy Jankowski is a certified breath coach, trauma-informed Qigong trainer, and certified Robert Peng Qigong instructor. Qigong is the art of energy cultivation. It works with the body’s primary energy centers in the belly, heart, and head. Research across biology, neurology, physiology, psychology, anthropology, and interpersonal neurobiology increasingly supports what Qigong has practiced for thousands of years: the flow of energy in the body shapes perception, emotion, clarity, behavior, and well-being. Qigong is like inner calisthenics, revitalizing you from head to toe and helping restore your natural, healthy condition.
