Four Golden Wheels Exercise - January
Energy wants to move.
Description
Four Golden Wheels exercise is a classic Robert Peng Qigong practice and Kathy’s #1 recommendation for beginning—or resetting—a sustainable path toward nervous system balance, emotional resilience, and healing. Consistent practice is essential. That’s why all students who complete this class are invited to attend one free class per week (with 9 options). If you are doom-scrolling, overwhelmed, numb, easily frustrated or angry, bracing, anxious, reactive, sleep-deprived, or simply unable to recover from stress, this practice is medicine. In volatile times, learning how to relax and build energetic stamina is essential to remaining a force for good. In this 3-hour class, you will learn gentle, nourishing, efficient, and fun practices that strengthen your capacity to slow down, quiet the mind, and create healthy internal and relational boundaries. Four Golden Wheels is a gentle yet powerful practice that builds grounding, coherence, and resilience. You will learn how Life Force energy (Qi) is cultivated (Gong) through the body’s three centers of awareness—thinking, feeling, and acting. Through movement, breathwork, and visualization, you will learn to regulate energy in real time, stop running yourself ragged, and recover more fully from stress. All practices support vagal toning and are rooted in contemporary understandings of how chronic stress ties the nervous system into knots—and how those knots can be unwound. Kathy Jankowski is a certified breath coach, a trauma-informed Qigong trainer, and a certified Robert Peng Qigong instructor. Payment is based on your ability to pay: $125 for the 3-hour class; $75 for those on a tight budget. If cost is still a barrier, please email Kathy at connect@KathyJankowski.com. No one is turned away. Qigong is the art of energy cultivation. The body has three primary energy centers—the belly, heart, and head—known as the dantians. Research across neurology, physiology, psychology, and interpersonal neurobiology confirms what Qigong has taught for centuries: the health and flow of energy in these centers profoundly shape perception, emotion, clarity, behavior, and well-being. Practicing Qigong is like calisthenics for your energy body, revitalizing you from head to toe. Strengthen the inner ground that lets you respond wisely in uncertain times.
