Four Golden Wheels - May
Energy wants to move.
Description
Four Golden Wheels exercise is a classic Robert Peng Qigong practice. It is Kathy’s #1 recommendation for learning about Qigong and for resetting your nervous system. This class is also recommended for students of the Enneagram to learn to connect with essential states in the three centers. The 2.5-hour class is offered twice in May: Sunday, May 17, 2:00-4:30 pm Eastern and Sunday, May 31, 3:00-5:30 pm Eastern. Consistent practice is essential. That’s why all students who complete this class are invited to attend one free class per week (with 8 options). If you are feeling overwhelmed, numb, easily frustrated or angry, bracing, anxious, reactive, sleep-deprived, or simply unable to recover from stress, this practice is medicine. In volatile times, learning how to quickly relax and build energetic stamina is essential. In this class, you learn gentle, nourishing, and fun practices that strengthen your capacity to slow down, quiet the mind, and strengthen emotional resilience. Four Golden Wheels is a subtle yet powerful practice that is grounded and brings your body into coherence. You will learn how Life Force energy (Qi) is cultivated (Gong) through the body’s three centers of awareness—thinking, feeling, and acting. Through movement, breathwork, and visualization, you will learn to regulate energy in real time, stop running yourself ragged, and recover more fully from stress. The practices support vagal toning and are rooted in contemporary understandings of how chronic stress ties the nervous system into knots—and how those knots can be unwound. Kathy Jankowski is a certified breath coach, a trauma-informed Qigong trainer, and a certified Robert Peng Qigong instructor. Payment is based on your ability to pay: $150 for the 2.5-hour class; $100 for those on a tight budget. If cost is still a barrier, please email Kathy at connect@KathyJankowski.com. No one is turned away. Qigong is the art of energy cultivation. The body has three primary energy centers—the belly, heart, and head—known as the dantians. Research across evolutionary biology, neurology, physiology, psychology, anthropology, and interpersonal neurobiology confirms what Qigong has taught for centuries: the flow of energy in our bodies profoundly shapes perception, emotion, clarity, behavior, and well-being. Practicing Qigong is like calisthenics for your energy body, revitalizing you from head to toe and restoring your natural, healthy condition.
